In the society where I come from, many people have a very passive approach towards life, where they are quick to “pass the ball to God” at the slightest opposition or challenge they encounter in lives.

Reality is that nothing worthwhile is achieved on a silver platter. You need to have the balls to confront the powers that be and snatch your victory from the hands of your opposition.

Ask yourself: If you were a manager in an organization and all you do is to pass problems to the founder or the CEO to solve because as far as you are concerned the vision of the business is theirs, you know what will happen right? You will be fired and replaced with someone who has the urge and balls to deal with the day to day challenges that business faces.

The role of the founder of the business is to support you with the resources you need to deal with the obstacles you encounter and not to be solving them directly.

Unfortunately many Christians abuse their relationship with God, expecting Him to solve issues He has already empowered them to solve. Hence they end up living a life of defeat and perpetual mediocrity.

God is not impressed at all with the tall list of referrals we keep sending to His doorsteps.

The time has come for you and I to take our place as partakers of God’s divine nature, enforcing His will and mandate on this earth without fear or intimidation.

So how can you take your place as an active partaker of  God’s Kingdom?

  1. Commit to the word of God to find out what belongs to you in Christ:

And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified. -Acts 20:32

  1. Build up your faith and boldness through prayer and speaking in tongues

But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, – Jude 1:20

  1. Confess and put into action what the word of God says no matter your feelings and circumstances.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Cor 5:7

The word of God in your heart is not enough. You must confess it. After all what is the use of a gun if it is not fired?

  1. Share the testimony about the victories God gives you to encourage the faith of others.

“For it is God who is at work in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.”.

The days of feeble complaints and cheap referrals in the throne room of God is over.Take charge now!

God richly bless you.
